Which PF is recommended for your device and photographing conditions? For example, if you have a Sony Nightshot Old model and take a see-through picture of a Moving object in Environment A, we recommend you to use a PF1. Check the table below to get the best see-through pictures.

Abbreviations & Terms

Abbreviations Explanations
Env. A, B, C, D See the table below
F Fixed objects
M Moving objects
B/M Before Modifying to full control of exposure
A/M After Modifying to full control of exposure
S/S Slow Shutter models. these models' shutter speed can be manually adjusted below 1/60 second (for example 1/8, 1/4 second)
F/S Fast Shutter models. These models' shutter speed is adjusted only up to 1/60 or 1/50 second but CANNOT be adjusted below 1/50 second (for example 1/8, 1/4 second)
PF4 with S/S PF4 has to be used with Slow Shutter
X Any PF can't be used under that condition

Environments A, B, C and D are defined as follows;

Env. B High Clouded summer's day outdoors / Sunny Spring or Autumn day outdoors.
Env. C Fair Clouded Spring or Autumn day outdoors
Env. D Lowest Indoor pool / Indoors where a glow lamp, mercury lamp or nitrogen lamp is installed.
