What is PuttingMonster™?

The PuttingMonster™ is a stereoscopic green reading glasses. The PuttingMonster™ uses advanced optics to reveal subtle surface differences in the contour of a putting green to a golfer. With PuttingMonster™, a golfer is able to read the break and grain of the putting green much more clearly and putt with more precision in the speed and direction of the putting stroke.

How It Works?

The PuttingMonster™ utilizes a patent pending "Non Coherent Stereoscopic Conversion Technology." The technology presents two distinct images of the same putting green to the retinas in the golfer's right and left eyes. The golfer's brain processes these non-coherent images to show the golfer an exaggerated three dimensional (stereoscopic) image that emphasizes minute characteristics of the green's surface. The stereoscopic effect is most pronounced at angles of incidence and reflection less than 30 degrees. The perception of the stereoscopic image causes an "ocular dissonance" that draws the golfer's attention to the specific regions of difference through the brain's interpretation of the differences. This enables the golfer to read the break and grain of the putting green much more clearly and putt with more precision in the speed and direction of the putting stroke.
